The Feb box honoured the moon and was all about clearing and protection
With DIY moon water, a ritual bath, a clearing & protection room spray DIY (as part of the spell) and a pretty moon necklace. I went a bit overboard on these boxes if I’m honest lol. The Magick boxes included an altar cloth/wall hanging of the moon, a new moon ritual candle and even a mini besom.
I’m planning on doing up some more Spell Boxes of these and should have them on the website late next month if my move goes smoothly. Did I mention I’m moving house? Woohoo, it’s much safer for my daughter and I’ll have more room to do the boxes

Moon water! Such a simple yet amazing tool, referred to by some as ‘drawing down the moon’; making moon water dates back to at least the ancient Greeks and is found in many cultures around the world. Included in your February box is a little bottle for you to make your own moon water in, complete with a triple moon charm.
This month’s spell is a DIY project, making your own room clearing and protection spray in a ritual! Known to some as a smudging spray, I prefer to call it ‘clearing’ as I find this term more appropriate for us in New Zealand. However, I’ve included a blank label for you to name your spray whatever you feel called to. To create your clearing spray you charge it with your intent in a small ritual and utilise your moon water for added potency.
Cleansing and protection is something we should all do regularly (I personally don’t think I do enough of it lol) so I felt it was fitting to utilise the moon’s power to clear away unwanted energies and provide energetic protection.
As always I’ve tried to design everything with lots of room to make it your own! The full moon is usually thought of as the most potent time for magick however the dark moon is associated with cutting ties and letting go, as is the waning moon. So if you feel called to make your moon water for your spray in a different moon phase, please do so! Also the DIY ritual spray includes essential oils associated with the moon and polysorbolate 80 (an emulsifier to mix the oils and water) but if you don’t want to use the oil mix, you can definitely make your own! Witch hazel also helps essential oil and water mix. Please just be mindful that lemongrass and eucalyptus (pets) are NOT safe around pets or very young kids so please don’t use your clearing spray when they’re in the room & wait a few minutes at least for it to dissipate.
* Glass Moon Water Bottle with silver toned cap and triple moon charm, holds 200ml
* Glass Spray Bottle to make your room clearing spray, in amber glass to protect the content and with a trigger spray bottle that I’ve cut to fit, holds 50ml
* Blank Sticker so you can call your clearing & protection spray whatever you want, or draw a moon on it, or even a sigil
* Witch Hazel about 1.5ml give or take, for your clearing spray. Witch hazel is protective and also helps mix essential oils with water
* Oil Mix for your clearing spray, about 1.5ml give or take. Fractionated coconut oil, Polysorbolate 80 (emulsifier), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiata) oil, lemon grass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) oil, Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) oil and Neroli (Citrus x aurantium) oil
* Tiny crystals for your clearing spray. A moonstone bead and some black obsidian
* Mini Selenite Wand a stick of satin spar selenite for cleansing and protection. Associated with the moon, you can never have enough selenite! You can charge and cleanse your crystals and jewellery with it, or place it near your front door or another space you would like cleansing and protection. Selenite is self cleansing and cleanses other stones.
* Moon Bath Salts For a cleansing moon bath. With Himalayan salt, Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), sodium bicarbonate and lemon grass & eucalyptus essential oils (Eucalyptus radiata & Cymbopogon flexuosus).
* Moon necklace in silver toned alloy with a full moon pic
* Nag Champa Incense Cone an ancient scent thought to connect the spiritual with the physical and containing sandalwood (which associated with the moon)

You will also need: * A pen * A plate or tray to catch any potential spills * A bath or tub for a foot/hand soak * A lighter or matches * an incense cone burner * A windowsill or outdoor space * A dark cupboard to store your moon water in * Time to perform your ritual
The Magick Box Contents:
* An extra stick of selenite because you really can never have enough selenite
* Mini besom for ritual cleansing of your altar and spaces
* Moon Tapestry use as an altar cloth or as a wall hanging. It’s polyester, so you can wash it pretty easily – just try not to get hot ash or wax on it
* Red Sandalwood associated with the moon & Venus and known for love, cleansing and ridding of negativity. Use it in spell jars & bottles, add to soaps and skin care stuff, burn it or sprinkle it around.
* Lemon Balm ‘Mellissa’, associated with the moon and known for love, happiness, renewal, spirituality, purity, healing & success. Use it in spell jars & bottles, burn it, sprinkle it, put it in your bath, use it in poppets & pillows or just smell it’s awesome scent.
* New Moon Candle & Ritual by Romi & Wilde. Handmade soy candle with bio glitters, black calendula, fennel, & onyx scented with black orchid & musk
