November 21 Box – Water + Healing

The November box was all about water and healing.

The spell was a water healing spell, with one of my FAVOURITE creations, Swamp Hag Bath Sand. Coloured with kelp and other awesome things like blue butterfly pea powder and fragranced with essential oils (which thankfully masked the fishy smell from the kelp) the bath sand is a way to connect with water and your own healing powers, with the assistance of the Swamp Hag.

Excerpt From The Box:

Your quest for healing leads you deep into the bush. In a clearing you stop and admire the bountiful kawakawa and a Tui calls to your left. You follow the Tui and notice the bracken appears slightly flattened. Up ahead is a path. You follow it, heading North into the midday sun which is peeking through the tall totara and rimu trees.

Eventually you come across a stream that winds beside the path, bubbling softly across smooth grey and coloured stones. Flashes of white catch your eye – NZ quartz, how beautiful!

You keep walking, slowly now as you’re getting tired in your quest for inner balance and well-being. Suddenly your feet squelch into the path. Mud! But the path continues on, into the muck. You follow it, carefully watching your feet, testing your footing with each step.

Its up to your knees now, so continuing is really difficult but you persevere. You smell something out of place – mint? Why is there mint here? Then you feel a glow as gentle hands touch your shoulders.

What Was In The Boxes?

For The Spell:

* Lemon Ginger Kawakawa Tea – this is from a wonderful NZ organic tea company! This tea is a lovely potion you can make utilising the element of water, and the healing powers of lemon and ginger combined with native Kawakawa make this a powerful tea.

* Water Elemental Roller Oil – Oil aligned with the element of water, for calming, cleansing and healing. A light, refreshing blend of  essential oils and scents associated with water that is almost invisible at first (that’s the shy violet) but like water the scent slowly changes and reveals itself.

*Swamp Hag Bath Sand – Bath sand for deep, inner healing work with the aid of your inner swamp hag and the element of water. Kelp, dulse, green tea, mint, eucalyptus and blue butterfly pea powder combine with salts and water to aid your healing journey and leave your skin feeling amazing.

*Floral Tea Spoon stainless steel tea spoon for stirring ritual tea and coffee – this wasn’t photographed as they arrived AFTER I had photographed everything and packed the boxes – I wasn’t sure if they would arrive on time, which is happening a lot lately with what’s going on in the world!

*Spell Instructions (other side of this paper lol)

Plus:

* Sea shell– natural altar décor representing the power of water, the sea and storms.

* Blue quartz tumble

* Info on healing crystals & herbs

* Hibiscus Flowers (Magick Box)

* Rosemary Water – (Magick Box) The healing and protective powers of rosemary, in water! This is not a herbal infusion, please don’t drink it lol. Great for potions, pouring a splash in your bath or even adding a dash in the rinse cycle of your washing machine. Approx. 10ml Rosemary Hydrosol – Salvia Rosmarinus. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, broken skin, or sensitive areas. Discontinue use if you experience rash or irritation. Store in a cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.

*Crescent Moon Tea Cup & Saucer (Magick Box) – for brewing your healing potions, teas and coffees. Hand painted with a waxing and waning crescent moon for balance. You can also use this to sip moon water or brew your tea with moon water. Gentle handwash only & not microwave safe

Part of doing these boxes is not just designing and making everything, but testing it too. So, I did the healing spell and then 3 days later I got a phone call saying my surgery had finally been scheduled! So, November 16th I had surgery (the next part of my healing journey) and then I begrudgingly spent 2 weeks not being able to go into my workspace and sitting on the lazy boy chair. Lol. I’m doing really well now, feeling a whole lot better and with a new zest for life (as well as an appreciation for the need to schedule more down time lol)
